A new media group «Digital Economy» is being created in Ukraine, which will unite the technology and business publications ITC.ua, MC.today and Highload with the business The Page and the SPEKA platform. Creators Media Group co-founders Vira Voron and Timur Vorona are leaving the ownership and operational management.
According to a press release from the newly created media group, the CEO of the association will be Serhiy Okhrimenko, who currently manages The Page and SPEKA. The message notes that all projects will operate as usual, and the composition of the teams will not change. Okhrimenko calls ITC, Highload, MC.today and The Page an ecosystem for business and the technology community and declares his intention to form a Supervisory Board for strategic support and independent control of compliance with journalistic and ethical standards.
A separate development track has been planned for SPEKA. They want to strengthen the platform as a UGC platform that will unite technological experts in Ukraine. To this end, they announced the creation of an Expert Council of IT entrepreneurs, communicators, and industry specialists who will determine the direction and attract authors. Creators Media Group co-founder Vera Voron says that in four years with Timur Voron they have created «from scratch the largest media group in the country in the business and technology niche,» and during a full-scale war, the key task was to preserve projects «in conditions of a perfect storm.» She emphasizes that the media group is profitable, and plans to focus on developing the international PR agency Creators and helping Ukrainian entrepreneurs enter global markets.
The press release also provides metrics: by the end of 2025, Creators Media Group’s media pages were viewed about 70 million times, and the total audience for the period was approximately 18 million unique users.
The largest project is called ITC.ua with a monthly audience of about 3 million. The monthly reach of SPEKA is estimated at 365 thousand users, The Page has over 1 million readers per month. Regarding the terms of the merger, Serhiy Okhrimenko and Timur Vorona do not comment on the details of the agreement. In particular, a dev.ua journalist asked whether this was an economic agreement and whether the party leaving the project received money, but the speakers have not yet answered this.
ITC.ua was founded in 2001, and in 2021 the portal was bought out by Vira and Timur Vorona. The Page has been operating since 2019 and abandoned the Russian-language version in 2023. SPEKA launched in December 2021 and plans to develop an author community and new channels, including YouTube, podcasts, and special projects. MC.today was launched in 2017, and in the summer of 2025, its positioning was updated to MC: Money & Career. Highload.tech launched in January 2021 and writes about the life and work of developers.
