As reported in the Kiss My Apps press release, the idea arose due to the lack of quality content to work with music. Most of the popular sets on YouTube have already been listened to, and searching for something new requires time and resources. Therefore, the team decided to combine their own playlists into a separate music project.

Playlists can be found on Spotify by searching for «Kiss My Radio» or by the names of the compilations. In addition, the company announced a «work schedule» for its «radio»: playlist updates every Friday and large-scale releases once a month.
