Only about 1% of Ukrainian IT workers can afford to combine work in four or more projects or companies, and 2.3% of representatives of the domestic IT industry work in three.
This is evidenced by the results of the study of the Ukrainian tech industry IT Research Ukraine 2024, presented by the Lviv IT cluster.
Already significantly more Haitians — 11.3% — combine their employment in two projects or companies, and the absolute majority of 85.4% are focused on cooperation with one employer on one project.
If we compare with last year's data, the number of people from Haiti who combine work has increased by only a few percent.
"85% of IT specialists work in the same company against 88% last year. 11% of specialists combine work in two companies or have an additional freelance project, compared to 9% in 2023," the study notes.
As we previously reported, the study also predicts that IT services exports could fall by 4% to 6% in 2024, compared to last year, which also showed a decline.
