According to the Ministry of Defense, the program covers situational awareness, working with focus zones, detecting air targets, real-time monitoring, and setting up alerts. The course materials emphasize practicality: how to quickly identify a threat, not lose it when the situation changes, and timely convey warnings to adjacent groups to prepare shelter, equipment, and personnel.
The Ministry of Defense adds that 20 training courses in various areas are currently available in «Army+»: from psychological training to basic topics about UAVs and communications. The new course on «GRAPHITE» complements this line as a tool for daily safety: it does not replace combat procedures, but helps to standardize observations and reduce the human factor during duty.
The course was created by a separate special electronic support center. The GRAPHITE functional team developed the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where military personnel with many years of civilian experience in developing IT products serve.
«Army+» is being developed as a single digital point for services and training in the Defense Forces. Against the backdrop of the massive use of drones and active countermeasures with electronic warfare means, the need for fast, equally understandable surveillance tools for different units is only growing — which is why practical courses tied to specific digital applications are becoming a separate area of training.
