The Ministry of Defense has approved the use of the Droid Box system, which has already been integrated into over 1,000 NRCs

Ukrainian DevDroid has received official approval for Droid Box, a unified control system for ground robots, which is already being installed on combat and logistics platforms from various manufacturers.
This was reported to «Military» by DevDroid. The company positions Droid Box not as part of one specific robot, but as a separate product for the entire NRC market: it already works on more than 1,000 platforms, is integrated into eight different complexes, and after codification can be officially supplied for the needs of the Defense Forces.
The main idea of the solution is to avoid manufacturers having to build their own control system from scratch every time. Droid Box provides a single interface and a single logic for different platforms, so it is easier for the operator to switch between machines, and the department to scale the robot fleet faster. The company claims that the system supports six types of communication, including digital channel, LTE, satellite communication and backup channels, and also tracks positioning anomalies and helps maintain navigation and control during electronic warfare and GNSS spoofing.
A special emphasis was placed on combat use. The Droid Box is compatible with various configurations of the Wolly module, including the Browning 12.7 and Mk-19, and also supports AI elements for target detection, capture, and tracking. In addition to movement and weapons control, the system provides the unit with situational awareness via a local field server, collects telemetry, and displays the technical status of the platform so that the operator can immediately see malfunctions and return the machine to service faster.
Among the platforms on which Droid Box has already been integrated are Droid TW-7.62, Droid TW-12.7, Droid NW 40, Numo, Zmiy Droid 12.7, Tanchyk Droid 12.7, Rawlyk Droid 12.7 and Bison Droid 12.7. That is, this is not a narrow solution for one model, but an attempt to create a common electronic basis for Ukrainian NRCs that can be transferred between different classes of machines.
DevDroid says they will take on the service of all platforms with Droid Box regardless of the manufacturer: from diagnostics and repairs to updates and operator training. After the solution appears on the Brave1 Market, units will be able to integrate it independently according to instructions, which will potentially make the unification of ground robots faster not only for manufacturers, but also for the military itself.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about how on the morning of January 27, a video of a ground-based robotic complex, the operator of which captured three occupiers, spread across social networks. The drone turned out to be a Droid TW-7.62 from the Ukrainian company DevDroid.
There will be no reform of the CCC from April 1 — the Ministry of Defense denied information about electronic summonses in the «Reserve» and other changes
