The Ministry of Defense codified the entire model range of electronic warfare systems "Kvazar 3M"

The Ministry of Defense codified all modifications of the Quasar 3M electronic warfare system from TAF Industries: a line of eight configurations, differing in the number of operating ranges and modules.
According to Militaryi, the family includes eight configurations, differing in the number of operating ranges: from a version with three modules to a variant with ten. The manufacturer also offers three packaging formats: a small unit for 3-5 ranges, a medium one for 6-8, and a large one for 9-10.
«Quasar 3M» operates in the 120-5850 MHz band, covering the most common communication and control channels. The company emphasizes simultaneous operation on 19 frequencies in this range: the use of LoRa technology, various types of antennas (quadrifiliar, collinear and directional) and GaN modules should provide tight suppression even against devices with a high gain.
The power of one module is declared to be up to 100 W without loss of energy efficiency. The radius of action of the complex reaches 300 m, autonomy from batteries is 1.5-2 hours. According to the manufacturer, more than 500 «Kvazar» complexes have already been codified and are used at the front.
The products are IP66 protected and come with a complete kit for quick installation: suppression unit, antennas, batteries, chargers and mounting. Three-stage quality control is also noted: from component inspection to production and field tests, as well as endurance tests, including operation at temperatures up to 70°C, vibration resistance and tightness.
On the front, tactical-level electronic warfare is usually selected for a specific task and location: in some places it is more important to «close» FPV control, and in others it is more important to «close» video or communication channels. Therefore, manufacturers are moving towards modular solutions, where a unit can assemble a configuration to suit its threat profile without replacing the entire complex.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about how the Ukrainian company TAF Industries introduced the Kvazar-A electronic warfare system for protecting armored vehicles and vehicles.
The Ministry of Defense will provide 180 brigades with budgets for the purchase of electronic warfare equipment through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace
