The Ministry of Defense will provide 180 brigades with budgets for the purchase of electronic warfare equipment through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace
Military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard will be able to directly select and order stationary and «trench» electronic warfare systems in the secure DOT-Chain Defence marketplace.
Military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard will be able to directly select and order stationary and «trench» electronic warfare systems in the secure DOT-Chain Defence marketplace.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the tool opens guaranteed budgets for 180 brigades so that each unit can independently determine the necessary EW models for its tasks, while the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) takes on the entire «back office» — from concluding contracts to paying suppliers.
The mechanics are simple: the unit enters a closed catalog, compares available solutions for covering positions or columns, forms a basket and confirms the order in a few clicks, after which the AOZ carries out the purchase. This approach reduces the time between need and actual delivery, and also relieves the military of paperwork and negotiations with manufacturers.
The Marketplace operates in parallel with other supply channels. It is an additional source that does not replace centralized procurement. DOT-Chain Defence is already integrated into the «Drone Army Bonus» program: previously, the AOZ concluded contracts for electronic warfare trenches precisely within the framework of this motivational program, where unit budgets increase due to confirmed enemy defeats.
The platform itself unites brigades, manufacturers, and AOZ in one protected environment: the military makes the selection, suppliers set product lines and deadlines, and the state ensures legal clarity and payment. This allows for rapid scale-up of supply while maintaining quality control and process transparency.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about how the Ministry of Defense allocated additional funds for the purchase of drones and other equipment through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace.
