The Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on a new way to enter data for booking employees at critical enterprises managed by foreigners. This will allow bypassing restrictions related to the lack of access to "Diya".
Currently, booking employees of critical companies requires that their manager has an account in Diia. However, this is not possible in cases where the company is managed by a foreigner. That is why the Ministry of Digital Transformation is developing an alternative mechanism that will allow transferring the necessary data to the state body that recognized the company as critical, and it is this body that will enter the information into Diia. This is reported by the European Business Association.
The new approach is already being applied to certain categories of companies — in particular, international technical projects, UN agencies, supervisory boards, etc. Now the Ministry of Digital Affairs plans to scale it to all companies that technically cannot use the online service.
The information was announced on May 15 during an open meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Economy with members of the European Business Association.

The booking mechanism at Diya was launched in 2023 to automate the processing of requests for the retention of employees in the rear. Due to active mobilization, the issues of flexibility and reliability of this process have become particularly important for Ukrainian businesses.
As a reminder, in April, the press office of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine posted updated instructions for booking employees on the Diya portal. This should make the procedure easier for companies that want to book their employees.
