The NABU reported that the transfer was approved by the decisions of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission and was carried out on the basis of agreements concluded with the investigation. The recipient was the Sternenko Community Foundation, which will ensure the purchase and transfer of FPV drones to military units.
The SAPO emphasizes that such a mechanism allows simultaneously to bring the guilty to justice and quickly convert the seized funds into specific defense capabilities. These are FPV strike platforms that perform reconnaissance, fire adjustment, and destruction of armored vehicles at the front, which directly increases the effectiveness of assault and defensive actions. The transfer takes place within the framework of current procedures, and the funds are intended for support of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past three years, similar decisions by SAPO prosecutors have allocated about UAH 2.9 billion for the needs of the Defense Forces. The department emphasizes that transfers to defense from funds received within the framework of proceedings have become a consistent practice, and the priority is efficiency and transparency of use.
