10 Ukrainian IT companies that hired the most juniors in 2025
In 2025, the priority direction for hiring IT beginners changed: if last year it was Support, this year developers are in first place. Companies also began to hire more juniors abroad.
In 2025, the priority direction for hiring IT beginners changed: if last year it was Support, this year developers are in first place. Companies also began to hire more juniors abroad.
DOU surveyed 33 Ukrainian IT companies about hiring juniors in 2025. In total, they hired 3,470 specialists with up to a year of experience, which is 500 more beginners than in 2024. Of these, 442 were IT professionals abroad, which is exactly twice as many as last year.
Here are the top 10 companies hiring Juners:
- Genesis — 951 (abroad — 226). The company continues to lead the ranking, and the number of new juniors in it is growing every year;
- EPAM — 616 (abroad — 0). The number of beginners in the company is growing every year;
- GlobalLogic Ukraine — 359 (7). This year the company surpassed SoftServe and FRACTAL, which had higher positions last year. ;
- SoftServe — 336 (0);
- FRACTAL — 321 (45);
- SKELAR — 174 (37);
- ZONE3000 — 170 (5);
- Boosta — 98 (19);
- BetterMe — 67 (18);
- appflame — 40 (3).
Key facts:
- the top five companies hired the most juniors in .NET, Analyst, and Administration positions;
- The most popular areas among the 33 companies surveyed were: Software Engineer (769), Support (533, in 2024 there were 699), Marketing (387), QA & QC (382) and Designer (196);
- Most juniors were hired in Kyiv and Lviv. No company mentioned Donetsk, Luhansk, or Kherson regions;
- the most popular search sources were LinkedIn (24 companies) and DOU (23 companies);
- Companies also hire people through their own educational projects: EPAM 616 juniors began working together after completing their training programs, mono launched an AI internship this year, after which it hired 7 interns, Global Mediator also created an internal educational project.
Companies' plans for hiring beginners in 2026:
- most companies will recruit up to 20 new specialists;
- EPAM plans to recruit the largest number of newcomers next year - over 500 specialists;
- GlobalLogic Ukraine, FRACTAL, SoftServe and SKELAR are also planning large-scale recruitment of juniors;
- Headway Inc predicts that 25-30% of positions will be aimed at finding junior-level specialists;
- mono, for example, have no plans yet to hire juns.
