In 2024, SoftServe hired 42% more specialists than in the previous year
Ukrainian IT company SoftServe, which works in the field of software development, significantly increased the hiring of Ukrainian IT professionals last year, in particular at the trainee/junior level.

As the company told DOU, in 2024, 700 new specialists joined SoftServe in Ukraine, of which 237 were trainees/juniors. In 2023, the company hired 294 specialists, of which 105 were trainees/juniors.
It is noted that Ukraine remains the company’s largest development center, where 7,279 specialists work. About 80% of all the company’s client projects came to Ukraine in 2024, fully or partially involving Ukrainian development teams.
SoftServe noted that they have two legal entities that are recognized as critical for the functioning of the economy. They currently have 250 specialists booked.
In a comment to 24 Business, the company’s press service indicated that it has a «significant number» of open vacancies, in particular for middle and senior-level developers, as well as specialists in Data Science and Big Data. SoftServe also said that in 2024 there was a trend towards an increase in salaries in certain areas. The largest increase occurred for middle and senior-level developers, as well as specialists working with big data.
Earlier, SoftServe President Taras Kytsmey said that the company has 500 clients. Each of them provides several projects, so SoftServe can simultaneously carry out about 2,500–3,000 different projects. «Last year, we had about 150 projects with artificial intelligence. And in terms of AI services, it seems to me that we grew by almost 500% in one year,» Kytsmey noted.
