Staff shortage — 31.5% of IT companies consider this an obstacle to business development

Almost half of IT companies consider political and military risks to be a key obstacle to business growth. The lack of professional staff is the second factor hindering development.
48.7% of IT companies consider political and military risks to be the main barrier to development, according to the study "Ukraine's Technology Sector as the Basis of Economic Resilience and a Driver of Recovery," in which 360 companies participated, Forbes Ukraine writes .
The five obstacles are as follows:
31.5% - staff shortage;
30.4% — problems with access to financing;
28.3% — administrative barriers and inspections;
26.9% — tax policy;
24.2% — corruption and demands from officials.

Despite all the challenges, 82% of IT companies predict an increase in revenue in 2026. In addition, businesses are actively looking for resources for development: about 50% of respondents are already planning to attract investments in the two-year period, and another 33% are considering such a step.
