NRC for points in the "Army of Drones Bonus": military personnel will be able to choose ground robots and receive them through DOT-Chain Defence
Ground robotic complexes have been added to the list of rewards for the «Drone Army Bonus», which fighters will be able to order independently in the Brave1 Market for accumulated points, and the supply will take place via the DOT-Chain Defence digital chain.
Ground robotic complexes have been added to the list of rewards for the «Drone Army Bonus», which fighters will be able to order independently in the Brave1 Market for accumulated points, and the supply will take place via the DOT-Chain Defence digital chain.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Defense Procurement Agency has concluded contracts with manufacturers of NRCs within the framework of the «Drone Army Bonus» program. The mechanics remain familiar to the participating units: for confirmed hits and destruction of targets, the unit receives «combat points» in DELTA, then through authorization in the system it opens access to the Brave1 Market and selects the necessary means: from drones and electronic warfare equipment to now ground robots. The Defense Procurement Agency provides delivery and closing of needs through DOT-Chain Defence, which tracks the path of the product from the supplier to the unit.
Since August, according to the Ministry of Defense, 71,000 units of various types of equipment worth UAH 2.8 billion have been transferred to the troops through DOT-Chain Defence as part of the «Drone Army Bonus». The addition of the NRC expands the range of «bonuses» from air platforms to ground systems: these are cargo robots for logistics, tracked/wheeled platforms for evacuation, ammunition delivery and work under fire, as well as bases for specialized modules (communications, electronic warfare, surveillance).
The new model is based on the integration of three IT systems: DELTA (recording results and scoring), Brave1 Market (catalog and ordering equipment at the request of the unit), DOT-Chain Defence (digital tracking of supplies). Such a «paperless» cycle should reduce the time between request and receipt of equipment, as well as reduce manual approvals, the status of the product movement is visible to all involved roles in the chain.
The department emphasizes that the choice remains with the unit: with the same «points», different configurations can be taken depending on the tasks: logistics, assault operations, engineering work, surveillance. Manufacturers of NRCs sign framework agreements with the «Defense Procurement Agency», after which specific units are reserved for the unit’s order and shipped via DOT-Chain routes.
The public announcement does not disclose the range of NRC models, SLAs with suppliers, delivery times to units, and rules for prioritizing orders between brigades. Critical to effectiveness will be the availability of service kits, crew training, and spare parts in the combat zone; without these components, even rapid delivery does not guarantee long-term «survivability» of equipment on the front lines.
Previously, dev.ua wrote about how the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published clear instructions for units of the Defense Forces: how to convert e-points accrued for confirmed kills into drones, electronic warfare equipment, and ground robotic complexes, place an order in Brave1 Market, and receive it through DOT-Chain Defence in an average of 10 days.
