The likely appointment was reported by two sources familiar with the process. This is stated in the material of Forbes Ukraine. According to one of the interlocutors, Artem Romanyukov, director of the digital transformation directorate, also applied for this role, but the final choice, presumably, fell on Ferchuk.
There is no official confirmation of the appointment yet. Ferchuk herself refused to comment on the situation. The department may also change several more deputy ministers. One of the new figures may be Hanna Hvozdiar, former deputy head of the Ministry of Strategic Industry.
As a reminder, on July 23, Kateryna Chernogorenko announced her resignation from the position of Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization. According to her, this job was the «most responsible» in her career.
Ferchuk previously served as an advisor to Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, focusing on the digitalization of logistics. She helped integrate the LOGFAS logistics operations support system, to which Ukraine received full access in 2022. In 2024, she also served as an advisor to Chernogorenko.
She is currently overseeing the implementation of the Transportation Management System in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a platform that allows you to manage routes, cargo, fleet, and logistics data in the army.
