Kateryna Kotvitska, Chief Content Officer of MEGOGO Books, reported that on the site new ones are constantly being added. «We plan to make the maximum amount of content visible through product solutions and targeted communication,» noted Kateryna Kotvitska. Currently, the online bookstore already has more than 130 contacts with publishers. About 11,957 books are already available for order on the site.
She noted that the company monitors the development of new publishing houses and is open to cooperation with everyone, from small author projects to large companies. «Our goal is to work with all active publishing houses, forming a catalog no smaller than that of any other project, and to provide our users with access to the most complete collection of books. The main task is to give users the books that they are actively looking for, as well as those that most often appeared in the results of our surveys,» the head emphasized in a comment to dev.ua.
In addition, according to her, the experienced editorial team will strengthen popular titles with less well-known in the information space, but important publications. «We rely on regular monitoring of reader demand from research, social networks, surveys and, of course, reviews of our users. Our task is to make the maximum amount of content visible, not a specific category. Therefore, we will later target the audience so that each user receives the most relevant catalog on the MEGOGO BOOKS storefront,» Kateryna Kotvitska noted.

In addition, the company added that special conditions will always be offered to MEGOGO BOOKS buyers who have a MEGOGO subscription, that is, are already part of the ecosystem.
As Valeria Tolochyna noted in a comment for dev.ua, the online bookstore MEGOGO BOOKS is a startup within the MEGOGO ecosystem. «We began to actively invest in this area in March 2024, exclusively at the expense of the working capital of the main product MEGOGO, without attracting third-party financing,» she said.
The company does not disclose the amount of investment, but according to the Global CMO, Megogo launched the project in March of this year with its own funds from the main service. The company estimates the cost of the project as average for this type and scale. The company plans to recoup the investment within two years.
MEGOGO Books has ambitious intentions to develop one of the largest book catalogs in Ukraine and to have all active publishing houses in its portfolio. In addition, the company plans to update the site’s functionality, including the appearance of an option to recommend similar books.
The company noted that at the product level, they are laying down a set of tools to implement their own strategy, focusing on continuous improvement of the user experience. «We strive to provide continuous updates, improve the processes of searching, buying and reading books, as well as actively experiment with new approaches. Our goal is to create a strong online bookstore,» MEGOGO added.
In addition, as the company noted, they combine modern digital solutions with experiments and convenient UX/UI design. «At the same time, the traditional book remains an important element of leisure and self-education for us, which we strive to preserve and develop together with new formats,» MEGOGO noted.
