The highest number of people complaining about low income are in office management (75%), among Artists/Animators (65%), and project managers (63%),reports DOU.
The most satisfied were analysts, product managers, legal specialists, AI / ML / DS / Data Engineering specialists, and representatives of the DefTech sector.
The majority of QA/AQA engineers surveyed (61.1% of 1,724 people) believe that they are underpaid. They called $2,000 an unsatisfactory income level, and $2,900 an acceptable one.
Among QA, SDET specialists are the most satisfied with their salary.
Among the 4,518 Software Engineers surveyed, 56.5% complain about their salaries. They find $2,975 unsatisfactory, but they consider an income of $4,200 to be quite normal.
Among developers, Full Stack and Front-end specialists are most likely to feel underpaid. Developers in Systems & Infrastructure are most satisfied with their salaries.
