FPV drones, as Serhii Flash tells us, do not broadcast telemetry signals, but work on reception, because they broadcast a picture to the operator who controls it.
«And this video image is the transmission video signal that we can intercept, and based on it, draw conclusions that the FPV drone is flying towards us,» the analyst explains.
Serhii Flesh says that FPV drones mostly hunt machinery and cars. And the detector can save the lives of soldiers.

In addition, according to Serhiy Flash, almost all FPV detectors can, if necessary, turn on the dome EW during the approach of the drone and turn it off after the danger has passed. Thus, the device also performs the function of an electronic device checker.
«In this way, REW preserves its resource, and we are not constantly on the air,» the analyst emphasizes.
Serhiy Flash talked about the mechanism of FPV detectors. In particular, first the device sees the signal. After that, a smart detector identifies whether this signal is amplified. If it does not increase, then the drone flies past and does not pose a threat to the defender. However, if the signal is strong, the smart FPV detector will trigger several buzzers to warn of potential danger.
In devices equipped with a screen, following the signal, you can calculate the trajectory of the enemy FPV.

«Manufacturers who make FPV detectors produce about 200-300 units per month and there is a queue for them for 4-5 months,» Serhii Flesh reported in a conversation with the head of the Victory Drones project, Maria Berlinska, on the Dignitas YouTube channel.
