The tragedy was reported by the DOU editorial office with reference to the company’s official information. At the time of the missile strike, the family was at home in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital. As a result of the impact, the house suffered significant damage. Vitaliy worked in the SQUAD technical support team for over five years. The company notes that he was not only a qualified specialist, but also a sincere, sensitive person who always supported his colleagues.
Vitaliy was born on August 20, 1982 and graduated from the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Modern Technologies in Zhytomyr with a degree in Economic Cybernetics. After the tragedy, he was survived by his wife and father. The company provides full support to the family, and employees initiated an internal collection of assistance.
The tragedy was part of the largest attack on Kyiv in recent months. At least 31 people were killed in the shelling, including five children, the Ukrainian president said. The youngest victim was just two years old. 159 people were injured, including 16 children. Search and rescue operations have officially ended, and emergency recovery efforts are underway at the scene.
According to official data, during July, Russia attacked Ukraine with over 5,100 guided bombs, launched 3,800 kamikaze drones, and about 260 missiles, of which 128 were ballistic.
In memory of the fallen IT workers, both civilians and military personnel, DOU created the IT Community Memorial. It contains the stories of specialists who died during a full-scale war, including Vitaliy Raboshchuk.
We previously reported that in early June, 32-year-old Nikita Kalugin, who served in the Typhoon special-purpose unmanned systems unit, was killed during a combat mission. Before joining the Defense Forces, he worked as a business analyst at Graintrack and Globaldev Group.
