Video game developer Vadim from Lviv region has released Awita: Journey of Hope on Steam. It is a metroidvania with pixel graphics that tells the story of a brave girl who decides to save her village from a devastating epidemic.
«After a long and dedicated development that lasted over two years, Awita: Journey of Hope is finally out and now available on Steam! What started as a project created with great passion has turned into an epic side-scrolling adventure game in the metroidvania genre,» the 17-year-old developer wrote, commenting on the game’s release.
According to him, Awita: Journey of Hope offers exploration of a large, hand-crafted kingdom, dynamic sword fights, and a world «soaked in rich mythology and lore».

Awita: Journey of Hope is currently available in the Ukrainian region of Steam for 191 UAH with a 15% discount.
Previously, dev.ua spoke with its developer and learned that this is not Vadim’s debut project, who has been creating games since he was 12 years old.
