Volodymyr Shaitan constantly conducts interviews and reviews a bunch of resumes. He noticed that 80% of resumes, created on the advice of career consultants, have approximately the same mistakes. That’s about 60 resumes in recent months.
«I don’t use „quotes“ for nothing, those who follow me know that I constantly conduct interviews and help in every possible way those who need it. Well, lately I’ve been reviewing a lot of resumes and have seen a lot of resumes written by „specialists“, and it’s some kind of shit, namely — it’s just painful,» Volodymyr wrote on LinkedIn.

Instead of the names of technical skills, there are their logos.
Even Google cannot find contacts that make it impossible to find a person on social networks.
Very saturated colors that simply tear out the eyes and make it impossible to focus on the information.
Button links to pet projects that don’t work, and it’s impossible to copy the link because it simply doesn’t exist.
«This is simply 80% of the resumes I’ve seen recently. What’s important is the resumes that were made by career consultants. I specifically specified this, although there’s no need to specify, because usually people are so proud of it that they say it themselves. This is the conclusion from about 60 resumes that I’ve seen in recent months,» Volodymyr noted.
Technical Lead also added that this is not a hate speech against career consultants.
