The video shows the usual gameplay for the GTA series, which is full of robberies, shootouts and mind-blowing missions, usually related to robberies. At the end of the trailer, the new release date of GTA VI is indicated — May 26, 2026.
Previously, the studio assured that it was determined to release the game this fall, although many insiders and journalists predicted a postponement to 2026. However, in the end, Rockstar admitted that it needed more time to provide the level of quality that «players expect and deserve.»
Last December, American Bloomberg journalist and author Jason Schreier said that GTA VI would be the biggest game of the decade and could become «the most profitable entertainment product of all time.» According to him, other publishers are trying to release their projects as far away from the release of GTA VI as possible so as not to harm their sales.
It recently became known that the company set a new financial record in the gaming industry — the development of GTA VI cost more than the construction of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.
