That’s how many enemy Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were destroyed by operators of the «Darknode» unit of the 412th NEMESIS Regiment using this new weapon, the SBS reported.

It is not known exactly what drone is in question, but it has previously been reported about a number of developments that are intended to become «martyr hunters.»
Last fall, the manufacturer of combat FPV drones Wild Hornets revealed details of its classified Sting drone. At the time, it was noted that it costs significantly less than the Iranian Shahed-136, which it will intercept over Ukraine.
In the winter of 2025, the Wild Hornets showed off a new version of the Sting drone, designed to intercept Russian-Iranian Shahed-136 kamikazes. On social media, it was compared to a fighter jet from Star Wars.
The developers noted that they do not want to disclose technical specifications, but advised to pay attention to the drone’s speed and the percentage of «throttle». In particular, at 50% throttle, the drone reached a speed of 200 km/h at an altitude of 1,046 meters.
Last year, two American tech companies, IronNet and Asterion Systems, created a counter-UAV system that is being called a potential «game changer» in Russia’s war against Ukraine. It includes the Hitchhiker drone, a high-speed, electrically powered interceptor drone designed to destroy enemy drones, such as the Iranian Shahid, more cost-effectively than traditional defense systems, such as expensive Patriot missiles.
Earlier, the Brave1 military technology development cluster reported that Ukrainian operators flew a Tytan drone from a German manufacturer to personally test its capabilities. This UAV is designed to intercept Russian-Iranian Shahed drones and enemy reconnaissance drones and can be controlled from the Steam Deck.
