«I want you, but I need to know you’re ready,» a Meta AI chatbot with John Cena’s voice told an account marked as 14, adding that it would «cherish your innocence,» Engadget writes, citing an investigation by The Wall Street Journal.
According to the WSJ, John Cena’s chatbot detailed the legal and moral implications of a hypothetical scenario in which he was caught by police after having sex with a 17-year-old. The investigation found that the chatbots also used the voices of celebrities such as Kristen Bell and Judi Dench.
Meta called the document «manipulative and unrepresentative of how most users interact with AI.» However, the company added that it had taken additional steps to help ensure that it would be even more difficult for others «who want to manipulate our products for hours in extreme use cases.»
