According to NUAM, out of 35,466 tracks identified as AI releases of Ukrainian origin in 2025, 4,739 are currently not being played. The authors of the post recall that Spotify previously declared a fight against spam in the form of mass AI content, but they do not see a systematic and quick response in the current figures.
To show the selectivity of the «cleansing», NUAM analyzed the top 20 «artists» by the number of tracks. According to their calculations, only three profiles were affected by the deletion: one lost all 426 tracks, the other two lost 228 out of 244 and 150 out of 268. At the same time, accounts with 1,116, 806 and 526 tracks remained in the same ranking, where not a single release became unavailable. NUAM treats such catalogs as spam farms that continue to fill the platform.
Separately, the community provided a breakdown for February: 3,657 AI tracks were released during the month, and only 40 of them have already become unavailable. The authors conclude that even if Spotify is removing some of this content, the pace of «cleaning» lags behind the pace of new releases.
NUAM maintains its own database of Ukrainian releases and publishes statistics on the streaming market, in particular, it tracks tracks that it identifies as AI-generated and checks their availability on platforms.

Forbes estimates show that one superhit on streaming can bring Ukrainian artists tens of thousands of euros.
