Development news became known from updates on the game's official website and the studio's messages to the community.
According to the countdown that appeared on the franchise's website, the long-awaited DLC will be released on August 20 at 4:00 PM. Preparations for the expansion's release have already entered the final stage. In particular, 18 new hidden achievements have appeared in the Steam database, which users will be able to unlock directly during the Cost of Hope campaign.
In addition to launching new content, the studio continues to work on technical improvements to the original shooter. GSC Game World has announced an additional set of players for the closed testing of the upcoming major patch version 2.0 on Steam.
The developers are urging fans who want to get early access to the update and help the team identify bugs to improve the gaming experience to fill out an application via a special Google form .
