Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky commented on the reform of the organizational structure of the Armed Forces.

«We are focusing our main efforts primarily on holding the borders firmly and preventing the enemy from advancing, strengthening the training of military personnel, and increasing the unmanned component,» he emphasized.
According to the Commander-in-Chief, the development of formations and units of the Ground Forces, Airborne Assault Forces, Marine Corps, and Unmanned Systems Forces will continue to occur through the increase in unmanned systems in their composition. Units «on the ground», which are already conducting defense on the front line, are being saturated with personnel and equipment.
In addition, measures are underway to move and second military personnel from non-combat to combat military units. They also plan to improve work in the direction of recruiting and strengthening the psychological resilience of soldiers.
«In January, we were able to slightly increase the number of units that are withdrawn to restore combat readiness. There are corresponding plans for the next period as well. February will be difficult for our troops, but the enemy will also have a hard time,» said Oleksandr Syrsky.
