Venture fund SID Venture Partners announced an investment in Ukrainian startup GO TO-U, which is developing an operating SaaS system for managing and monetizing electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The fund announced this on LinkedIn, without disclosing the investment amount, but usually the average check is $300,000.
GO TO-U, a startup founded by Olena and Lyubovya Artemenko, as well as Nazar Shimone-Davyda, provides access to over 950,000 charging stations in 67 countries. Last year, Epicenter integrated the startup's software solution with charging stations in the network's parking lots.
“GO TO-U is an example of how Ukrainian entrepreneurs can successfully compete in the US market,” says Dmytro Vartanyan, the fund’s managing general partner. “Their technological experience and proven project implementation capabilities give us full confidence in their potential.”
Given that electric vehicle sales will grow by 38% in 2023, and the charger market will reach $155 billion by 2030, GO TO-U has every chance of becoming a leader in this industry, the fund is confident.
