In January, companies published 6,445 vacancies on DOU: +1,861 for the month. In addition, this figure is 1,400 more than in January last year.
«This is the largest since the start of the full-scale invasion. 1,861 vacancies were added compared to December — everyone returned to work after the holidays, and the promotion for companies also had an impact,» the DOU noted .
Recruiters posted 10,981 job openings on Djinni in January, more than in any month in 2024, Djinni reports .

On Djinni, growth is seen in all categories, but the largest is in .NET (+55%) and Python (+54%), the smallest is in PHP (4.5%) and Sysadmin (4%).
At DOU, only one job category did not see an increase — DBA. It was also noted that some categories exceeded the level that existed before the full-scale invasion for the first time, or reached it — these are Architect (48 vacancies), Design (278), Product Manager (204), SEO (72), Support (209).
Miltech vacancies hit a record high of 312 in January. The number of responses also increased, almost reaching October’s level.
Despite the dramatic increase in the number of vacancies in January, the average number of responses increased to 26.6. The number of candidates responding to vacancies (20,400) and the number of responses themselves (124,000) in January is a record.
The most competitive category in January remained Front-end — 94.6 reviews. Followed by QA — 70.7.
On average, more than 40 responses to the vacancy were also received in the Design, Java, Project Manager, and React Native categories.
The increase occurred across all experience levels. But the number of reviews from candidates with less than a year of experience increased for the first time in a year and amounted to about 5%.
«Among the remaining experience levels, reviews are distributed almost evenly. But the more experience, the more stable the number of reviews was over the past year,» Djinni noted.
In addition, recruiters began to write first more often compared to December.
