British neobank Revolut, whose founders include Ukrainian Vlad Yatsenko, began testing its app in Ukraine in late December. The beta version is currently open to a limited group of Ukrainian clients. An official launch is planned for later.
The application has the ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, reports Forbes Ukraine, which received access to the beta version of the Revolut application.

Revolut is registered under a license in Lithuania and can operate in the EU. Cryptocurrency is not legalized in Ukraine. As, by the way, in Britain, which theoretically does not prevent transactions and ownership of crypto assets. The draft law on regulating the virtual assets market in Ukraine may be adopted in the first quarter of this year.
There are three Revolut plans available:
- The Standard tariff plan is available for free. Revolut Junior can be connected: up to two accounts and two cards that children can use. The first five ATM withdrawals under the tariff plan or the first €200 per month are free of charge. Then there is a 2% fee for each transaction, or a minimum of €1 per withdrawal. ATM withdrawal limits are set at €200 and currency exchange up to €1,000 per month, and the fee for metal exchange is €0.99.
- Premium tariff plan : monthly payment €7.99, total annual cost in case of monthly payments – €95.88 or annual payment €82. The package is available with a similar function Revolut Junior. Withdrawal of the first €400 per month – no fee. Fee for each subsequent transaction – 2% or minimum €1 per withdrawal.
- Metal plan: €13.99 per month, total annual cost if paid monthly – €167.88 or €135 per year. Revolut Junior: Up to five accounts and five prepaid cards that children can use. No fee for the first €800 per month. Fee for each subsequent transaction – 2% or a minimum of €1 per withdrawal.
