Ukrainian team Farom Studio announced a new city builder game, Age After Age. The developers paid great attention to logistics, social class simulation, and the global economy.
"You start with just a small dock and a handful of settlers. From there, you'll have to build production chains, meet the needs of three unique social classes, expand to hand-crafted islands, and influence the world through diplomacy, trade, or domination," the game's description on Steam says.
Basic features of the game:
In Age After Age, the player will have access to 12 islands on which to build their own city. Each island has its own unique features: various biomes, story events, geographical obstacles, and more.
A major role in the game will be played by the class system, which is divided into: lower, middle and upper classes. Each class is engaged in the production of different resources and has its own needs. The developers note that the inhabitants of the polis will be able to move from one class to another.
Players can expect several historical eras to develop, starting from the classical era and ending with the steppe.
At the moment, Farom Studio is focused on the balance of the game systems, which they promise to talk about in more detail later. They also plan to release a demo version of the game.
