According to Military, the main difference of the Air Baby training version is the reinforced design of the fuselage and key components. The company explains that this solution is necessary for intensive training, when the drone regularly experiences hard landings, impacts and collisions, especially when training beginners.
In fact, this is not just a simplified training device, but a separate modification designed for long-term operation in daily mode. The reinforced design should allow the platform to be used for a longer period of time without rapid wear, which is especially important for training centers and combat units, where operators are constantly practicing new skills.
The Air Baby training system has been adapted for use both in specialized training centers and directly in military units. The system allows for simulation of air target interception scenarios in conditions close to real-life. This means that operators can train not only basic piloting, but also actions that will be needed during real work with an interceptor drone.
This is an interceptor drone that Strix Air has already put into mass production. Now the company is expanding the line not with a new combat modification, but with a tool for systematic operator training. This shows that Ukrainian drone manufacturers are starting to develop not only the platforms themselves, but also the training infrastructure around them.
It is important that the technical characteristics of the training version correspond to the combat analogue. Thanks to this, the operator gets used to the same flight dynamics, control and behavior of the aircraft that he will deal with during combat missions. This approach simplifies the transition from training to practical application and reduces the gap between training and real work.
