Ukrainian volunteers and businesses launched the "Subscription to the Army" platform for regular support of brigades
Another tool for systemic support for the army has appeared in Ukraine. The "Subscription to the Army" platform allows Ukrainians to arrange regular support for a specific brigade using the logic of a regular subscription to an online service, but with a direct effect on the front.
Another tool for systemic support for the army has appeared in Ukraine. The "Subscription to the Army" platform allows Ukrainians to arrange regular support for a specific brigade using the logic of a regular subscription to an online service, but with a direct effect on the front.
As noted in the official press release, "Subscription to the Army" was created by Ukrainian businesses and volunteers in partnership with the Defense Forces of Ukraine. 100% of the funds deposited automatically go to the brigades' treasury charity accounts without commissions and intermediaries, which turns donations into a predictable financial flow with which the command can plan the purchase of equipment, communications, or drones in advance.
The algorithm for the user is as simple as possible: on the website subscribetoarmy.com you need to choose a brigade, set the amount of the contribution (from 10 UAH) and the frequency - daily, weekly or monthly. All transactions are displayed in public dashboards: you can see the amount of income, the number of subscriptions and general statistics for each brigade. For people, this is a way to "automate" their participation in supporting the army, without having to remember each time when and how much to donate.
For brigades, the platform is a free technical solution. To join, a unit must contact the project team, undergo verification, and receive its own page. After that, all regular contributions from subscribers are sent directly to the official treasury account. More than 150 brigades have already been connected, and the initiative’s goal is to cover all combat brigades of the Defense Forces by the end of 2026.
Project leader Halyna “Perlynka” Klempouz, a public activist and participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war, emphasizes that “Subscription to the Army” grew out of the experience of the first months of the full-scale invasion, when the country practically single-handedly deployed the infrastructure to support the front. Now they are trying to formalize this spontaneous solidarity into a long-term system.
The organizers illustrate the potential of the model simply: if only 1% of Ukrainians subscribe for 100 UAH, the army will receive approximately 37 million UAH every month. This is hundreds of drones, communication equipment, and other equipment that can be purchased on a planned basis, rather than "assembly by assembly."
"Subscription to the Army" is implemented on the "RAZOM" donation platform of the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation "RazomUA Public Platform" and works in partnership with the National Guard, the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service. In fact, this is an attempt to build an infrastructure of trust: people help systematically and transparently, and the army receives regular resources for a long war.
