As noted on the hutshub website, it is «the first Ukrainian platform for convenient booking of cabins in nature.» It offers booking with connected payments, calendar synchronization, and ratings of guests and hosts. In a comment to Delo.ua, the developers said that for more than a year and a half, hutshub operated in a catalog format.
«The last 6 months have been spent actively developing, testing the product, and connecting functionality for homeowners. In early March 2025, we launched the application (currently for owners, with plans for travelers as well), and on March 20, we enabled payments. This can be considered the launch of hutshub as a full-fledged platform that can compete with Airbnb and Booking in terms of its functionality», — the team emphasized.
The developers say they consider themselves local competitors, and their product occupies a separate niche of private houses in nature. Currently, the platform has 104 houses that have been verified and connected to the acquiring service. At the next stage, the developers plan to combine 1,500 homes on the suburban real estate market on the platform.
«Our mission is to promote the development of tourism in Ukraine, so at hutshub.com we have collected the most cozy huts and recreation complexes where everyone can relax among nature, regain strength, spend time with family, or enjoy peace and quiet alone», — noted hutshub.
The project team consists of about 15 people with experience in IT, as well as MilTech, Hospitality. Hutshub says that the platform was created mainly by Ukrainian IT professionals.
«Since the beginning of the Great War, it has not been so easy to register a new house. That’s how hutshub appeared. We wanted to invest in a hut in nature, but decided to invest in an ecosystem that would make the booking process easy, safe, and transparent», — said hutshub co-founder and CEO Maksym Karkach.
Hutshub said that about $500,000 has already been invested in the project. The developers expect a payback in 3-4 years, provided there are parallel reinvestments.
