Ukrainian startup LetsData, which offers AI solutions for detecting information attacks, has raised a funding round of about $1.6 million from a number of institutional venture funds and angel investors.
As Andriy Kusy, the startup’s co-founder, told dev.ua, institutional investors include SMOK Ventures, Waira, 1991 Ventures, as well as Tilia Impact Ventures, Google’s Ukraine Support Fund, and Startup Wise Guys.
Also, according to the startup’s co-founder, a group of angel investors, mainly from North America, joined the round.
«For the last one and a half to two years, we have been growing due to revenue and the profit we make. But now we have an understanding of the market and a sufficient level of product readiness to make rapid investments in technology, and later also in sales, marketing and other functions. We want to speed up the processes and at least get the same 300% growth that we had this year. But the bigger you get, the harder it is for you to keep these high numbers,» the LetsData co-founder noted in a comment to dev.ua.

As dev.ua reported, the startup was launched in June 2022 by Andriy Kusy and Ksenia Ilyuk.
In February 2024, LetsData was among companies from nine countries around the world participating in Google’s program to use AI in cybersecurity.
