According to the company’s co-founder Yaroslav Hryshyn, in the first half of 2025, General Chereshny’s revenue amounted to UAH 1.5 billion. He called the main driver of growth the increase in government orders, in particular from the Defense Procurement Agency (DPA). He spoke about this in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
Grishin emphasized that only a third of sales are accounted for by government procurement. The company also supplies drones directly to military units and charitable organizations. Currently, the product line of General Chereshny includes more than 14 codified models, and seven more are in the certification process. Among the new products are Shahed and FPV fiber-optic interceptor drones capable of operating in difficult electronic warfare conditions.
In response to criticism from journalists and anonymous Telegram channels regarding alleged conflicts of interest in contracts with the state, the company declared the transparency of procedures and emphasized that most of the supplies in 2025 were agreed upon under the previous leadership of AOZ.
Also, «General Chereshnya» is working on attracting investments, both in terms of lending within the range of UAH 500 million from Ukrainian banks, and in terms of cooperation with investors from Europe, the USA and Israel. The company plans to direct funds to R&D development and the acquisition of promising Ukrainian DefenseTech startups. One of the key areas is drones with AI-based guidance systems.
Background. The company «General Chereshnya» was registered in September 2023. Its team was formed from volunteers who participated in the creation of the Delta situational center. The name is associated with Melitopol, a city famous for cherries, where some of the company’s employees come from.
