Ukrainians most often ordered down jackets, cosmetics, and charging stations abroad in winter — Meest study

This winter, Ukrainians most actively purchased warm clothes, cosmetics, accessories, and goods that became especially necessary during power outages in foreign online stores. For most, a check of 50-100 euros remained typical.

As Meest Shopping reports in its research, the survey covered 2,137 users of the service who placed orders from December 2025 to February 2026. The most noticeable part of the audience turned out to be quite active: 32,1% of respondents made six or more orders abroad during the winter, another 28,8% made four to five purchases. Only 19,5% of those surveyed limited themselves to one order.

The most active buyers were users aged 36–45, who accounted for 36,8% of those surveyed. Another 32,3% were people aged 46–60. The group aged 26–35 was smaller and accounted for 20,4%. That is, the main demand was formed not by the youngest buyers, but by an audience with more stable solvency.

More than 65% of all purchases had a receipt within 50-100 euros. Another 13,4% of orders cost up to 50 euros. At the same time, more expensive purchases were much less common: 4,1% were in the range of 150-300 euros, and 3,5% exceeded 300 euros. The top categories were clothing, footwear, cosmetics, accessories and energy-saving products.

In the winter season, Ukrainians most often ordered down jackets, sweaters, hoodies, fleece jackets, and thermal underwear. Among accessories, bags, backpacks, belts, and winter clothes from international brands were in demand. Separately, Meest recorded an increase in interest in portable electronics during blackouts: users more often bought charging stations, power banks, electric blankets, and heated heating pads.

The top five most popular sites included Amazon, Bluetti, eBay, Sephora, and 6pm. Ukrainians most often ordered goods from the USA, Poland, Germany, the UK, Spain, and Italy. The main reasons for such purchases were lower prices, seasonal sales, access to international brands, and the opportunity to purchase goods that are not available on the Ukrainian market.

Meest also predicts that the demand structure will change in the spring: winter items will fade into the background, and interest will shift towards lighter clothing, sneakers, cosmetics, accessories, and travel goods.
