At 9:28 a.m., the company announced on social media that Epicenter was experiencing temporary technical problems, and all measures had been taken to restore operations.
Users online are reporting that they are unable to purchase goods in any of the stores in Kyiv. They are also experiencing difficulties with the mobile application.
Some online communities write that the Epicenter network fell victim to a powerful hacker attack last night.
The company reported that on the night of April 28, 2025, a technical failure occurred in the Epicentr network, which affected the operation of the retail chain. «The online store epicentrk.ua continues to operate and accept orders. At the same time, delays in delivering orders to customers are possible,» the statement said.
The company also added that it is taking all necessary measures to resume the operation of shopping centers as soon as possible.

Could Russian hackers be involved in the attack on Epicenter? «So far, no Russian Telegram channel has written about this,» says an interlocutor in the cybersecurity market. «Therefore, I would not make automatic assumptions.»
