Vertu introduces Agent Q smartphone with crocodile skin and Ruby Talk AI assistant

Vertu in London showed off its new flagship Agent Q: a luxury smartphone with natural materials, enhanced data protection, and a Ruby Key button that launches the Ruby Talk AI assistant to help with trips and reservations and works with a support team.
As Digital Trends notes , the presentation took place in Harrods department store; sales will be held there. The case uses crocodile leather and gold-plated elements, all hand-assembled. A separate hardware module is responsible for data encryption, up to 10 TB of cloud storage is available.
The filling corresponds to the status of the flagship: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Supreme chip works together with 16 GB of RAM, the 120-hertz AMOLED display ensures a smooth interface. The camera unit is a 50 MP main one with a variable aperture, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle and a 64 MP telephoto lens. The autonomy is ensured by a 5565 mAh battery with 65 W wired charging.
Ruby Key launches Ruby Talk: a combination of local artificial intelligence and a service with over two hundred operators who help with logistics, reservations and errands 24/7. The user interacts with the interface, and a team of humans takes on complex requests. Some of the processing is done on the device so as not to transmit sensitive data to the cloud.
Vertu has not yet announced the price and is betting on exclusivity: Agent Q can be purchased only at Harrods, and a wider launch will be announced later. The target audience remains unchanged - buyers who are not satisfied with mass flagships and who are looking for a combination of status materials, turnkey service and privacy at the level of a separate chip.
Vertu became famous for its “luxury phones,” but after a period of turbulence, the brand almost disappeared from the public eye. The return with the Agent Q is supported not only by luxury materials, but also by modern functionality: fast hardware, up-to-date cameras, enhanced privacy and a hybrid AI assistant. If the company balances service and delivery, the ultra-luxury smartphone segment will receive a fresh, more utilitarian standard.
