The military ordered drones and electronic warfare equipment worth over UAH 1 billion through the updated "E-points" system
The updated «Drone Army.Bonus» program allowed Ukrainian units to exchange «E-points» earned for combat results for equipment through the Brave1 Market marketplace. In August alone, the volume of orders exceeded UAH 1 billion.
The updated «Drone Army.Bonus» program allowed Ukrainian units to exchange «E-points» earned for combat results for equipment through the Brave1 Market marketplace. In August alone, the volume of orders exceeded UAH 1 billion.
Brave1 and Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Facebook. In August, the military opened access to the Brave1 Market marketplace, integrated with DELTA and DOT-Chain Defence systems. Units can exchange «combat points,» which are awarded for confirmed destruction or damage to enemy targets, for drones, electronic warfare equipment, and other Ukrainian-made equipment.
How does the system work?
After authorization in DELTA, the military selects the necessary models in the Brave1 Market catalog, and the supply is carried out directly by manufacturers through DOT-Chain Defence. This reduces logistics time: the average time from order to transfer of equipment to the front is 10 days, and record cases — only 5 days.
During the first month of the updated program, units ordered 22,000 pieces of equipment: FPV drones, bombers, reconnaissance UAVs, and electronic warfare systems. Equipment worth UAH 266 million has already been delivered to the front line.
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov called the new model «Amazon for War» — a transparent and fast mechanism that allows the most effective parts to receive additional resources.
Advantages and disadvantages of the system
The E-Points system launched in 2023 as a pilot, but was fully integrated with the Ministry of Defense’s digital infrastructure in 2025. It not only speeds up deliveries, but also creates an incentive for units to demonstrate performance.
At the same time, the program has sparked discussions among the military. As dev.ua previously reported, some users on Threads criticized the model for «gamification of war» and possible pressure on commanders regarding «kill points.»
Despite this, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and Brave1 consider the system effective and plan to scale it to other types of equipment.
We previously reported that the Ministry of Defense announced that the military has gained access to a wider range of drones in the DOT-Chain Defence defense procurement system. Thanks to the new contracts, the list of manufacturers in the marketplace has grown to 20 companies.
