He reported this on his official Telegram channel. The meeting was attended by the heads of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, the National Agency for Corruption Prevention, the State Bureau of Investigation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General.
The President emphasized that protecting the state requires an effective law enforcement and anti-corruption system. According to him, it is important to eliminate situations where criminal proceedings remain without verdicts for years, and individuals who work against Ukraine do not feel the inevitability of punishment.
Zelensky thanked all participants for their willingness to act together and in the interests of the state. An agreement was reached on constructive teamwork of all bodies. Administrative and legislative decisions that will help resolve contradictions and increase the efficiency of institutions were separately discussed.
Next week, an in-depth working meeting will be held to agree on a joint action plan, and in another week, the parties plan to present a finished document with specific steps. The goal of this plan is to strengthen the state, enhance justice, and restore public trust in the law enforcement and anti-corruption systems.
This step comes against the backdrop of constant public expectations for improving the work of state bodies, especially in the context of a full-scale war and the need for the most coordinated fight against internal and external threats.
