#Vsrativakansii. Canceling zoomers, booking for casinos, a trap for Juno designers, a encrypted job for $7000, a vibecoder that will replace 10 developers... And a few more shitty candidates
Hello! It’s #vsrativakansii again. Autumn is in full swing, candidates are still complaining about the difficult job search, recruiters can’t find worthy candidates. In short, the labor market lives its own life despite the cold, shelling and blackouts. Today we’re talking about strange vacancies and a little bit about shitty candidates. In the issue — an anti-zoomer vacancy, a search for a vibecoder to replace 10 developers, an unsuccessful hack through a test and a vacancy with a reservation at a casino for $12,000. Also read about inadequate candidates and Kim Jong-un.

Actually, there are vacancies
«No zoomers»
Heorhii Diuho, Operations & Business Manager, posted a screenshot of the job posting with a strange comment. «I came across this post. How funny!» he commented .
Encrypted vacancy for $7000
Lead UI developer Serhiy Babich posted a screenshot of a job posting, with the requirements presumably encrypted. «By the way, I’ve been a shababadabadabadabadada for 14 years. At least five of them are alalalalalalalala,» he said .
Dating sites for designers
Junior UI/UX Designer Nadiia Ryzha says she applied for a job at Jooble as a social media designer, but instead got an offer from a dating site operator. «The site led me to Telegram. What do you think? Doesn’t Jooble have any moderators?» she asks .
Nadiya is not the only one who fell for this trick. «Oh, familiar people. A month ago, there was a vacancy for SMM of social networks in Telegram robota.ua. It also connected to this chat, the conditions are the same. I ask, where is SMM, and a few more „pleasant“ words from me… the result is a block,» said Olga Bukalo in the comments under the post of the girl Junior UI/UX Designer.
Kateryna Piven, Junior UI/UX Designer, also fell for this scam. «Now I get calls several times a day from different numbers, offering me a job in an office. I’m even afraid to imagine what kind of offices they are,» she shared in the comments.
Hack through a virus in a test
Fullstack Developer Artem Chekhovskoy told how he was tried to be hacked through a «test task.»
«The story is this — a recruiter comes in, immediately writes a canvas of text, and throws in a Google Doc with a description of the project. The project is ordinary, but the salaries there are quite ordinary — for the same backend developer they offer $70-100 per hour. I’m wary, but I’m curious about the trick. The document contains test tasks for different specialties. To complete the test, you need to download the repository and do something based on it. The test is quite simple — for the backend developer, it’s just a banal CRUD-app, for the frontend — a component on React. Interestingly, you need to download and deploy the repository even to complete the test for a UX designer,» he says.
The repository, according to the developer, is large. «Superficially, I don’t find any vulnerabilities. I throw it into Cursor, ask it to scan and find entry points for the hacker. Two minutes later I see: CRITICAL SECURITY WARNING — DO NOT RUN THIS CODE! Heh,» the IT guy shared.
According to Artem, if you run such a repository, the function in the screenshot below will automatically run (it immediately calls itself). The byteArray here is the address of the remote server, which is then decoded into utf-8. This decoded url is then passed to axios, it makes a request, gets the code from the remote server and immediately runs it via new Function («require», response.data.model) (require). This gives the attacker full control over the system, as if he himself were sitting behind your device.
Through such a backdoor, the developer says, you can:
search for passwords, production database credentials, crypto wallet seed phrase, saved passwords in the browser;
parse .env files;
run a cron job that will constantly scan the system or perform some tasks on your CPU.
«If you simply turn off the repository, it won’t disable the backdoor — most likely, it will be hung by a separate process, and it can also be added to the automatic launch at system startup,» says the developer.
He advises never to run repositories that you don’t trust. «If you really need to run it, scan it yourself or with the help of AI. And, if everything is OK, run it only in a separate container so that the script cannot reach your system,» the specialist adds.
«This will be over»
Oleksandr Valiukh, Head of Marketing & Brand Communication, published a screenshot of a very strange correspondence with a representative of the employer whose vacancy he applied for. «What stage of schizophrenia do you think HRD has?» he asked the community.
«We are looking for a specialist with knowledge of AI who can replace a team of 5–10 developers!»
The developer conducted an experiment by citing a crony offer from Djinni for Ukrainian vibe coders with a salary of $12,000 on LinkedIn. Despite the unrealistic description and, probably, a fake offer, there were many people who wanted to apply. We tell you the details.
«This is not a hoax or a joke, we are really looking for a specialist with knowledge of AI who can replace a team of 5–10 developers!», Principal Software Engineer Stanislav N. quoted on LinkedIn the description of the vacancy found on Djinni.
According to the job description, Clevervol is a corporate startup in the US from Ukrainian media agency Deadline that is disrupting the media and PR industry. «We have tripled ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue, the amount of money a subscription business is expected to earn each year from regular customers) with clients from Ukraine and are on the path to dominance in the US. Now 50% of our code is written in AI, so we have a small team of entrepreneurs without programming skills. Working 12-15 hours a day, we have done a lot to launch the product. Now we are looking for a powerful vibe coder (not viber!). Experience, seniority, education — do not matter! We will consider any candidate!», the description says.
Among the responsibilities that are planned to be assigned to the specialist, there are many tasks.
«We create new features for our product every day using AI. They don’t always work. Your job is to refine them to the required state. We solve deep product problems, such as how to raise more money. Your job is to prioritize features and work with AI as a project and product manager. We figure out how to scale our cloud infrastructure for real-time data processing. You will be our DevOps using AI,» the specialist wrote and published a screenshot of the offer.
Among the requirements for candidates is a whole list of skills.
Being stress-resistant with code from AI agents and patiently fixing our deliverables in the shortest possible time.
Your feature release rate should be 5 or 10 times faster than that of traditional developers.
You must be fully autonomous and able to solve any technical problem using AI. Example — pass the moderation of the application publication by updating the license policy!
You are completely autonomous in solving business problems, not creating them!
It would be a bonus if at least 50% of the code you are writing right now is written by AI, and the experience of a web coder is confirmed by a certificate.
Priority is also given to the booking specialist.
In turn, the company offers the specialist an option and bonuses that depend on the results of work. «Each team member receives a share of the company, and your bonus scales with our revenue, so your work affects your income. You will create technologies that will be used by millions of people, including the world’s largest media and PR agencies, who will rely on the fruits of your labor,» the job description says.
The candidate will need to complete a test task lasting up to two hours. Its essence is to implement a feature in an open-source repository using AI. «You choose the repository yourself! We don’t give you the code — only a description of the feature! The test task can be published and referenced anywhere. No need to sign any NDA. No need to transfer any data,» the company promises.
Resumes without a test task will not be considered. «Completion of the test task is paid for only after concluding a contract (two hours at the rate),» Stanislav said.
He added at the end of the post that he would like to see those who would apply for such a position. «What a mess, please someone apply, I want to look at this test for 2 hours, that’s probably 40 hours for a regular developer without the AI shit coding vibe,» the IT guy wrote.
Actually, this vacancy is no longer relevant on the job board, but it caused quite a stir among the community.
Meanwhile, according to the developer, there were many people who wanted to get such a job. «People started sending me personal messages — serious engineers, architects, seniors with a lot of experience — asking for test tasks and a link to the vacancy. That is, they didn’t even finish reading the post. They just saw „$12,000“ and ran back,» he said.
Stanislav is surprised: «When did we manage to unlearn how to search for vacancies on Djinni by keywords? And this is the best proof that the era of artificial intelligence has already begun. We have already learned to think superficially, scan content, but not read it. AI has only reinforced this pattern — now the human attention span has become shorter than that of a goldfish. If you can’t finish reading a post, then you probably don’t even have the desire to be a vibe coder. Even if you drove the entire text into ChatGPT, you would understand the entire context, but we have what we have,» he noted .
Casino bookings: «What is this, the new market norm?»
Marketer Serhiy Inak has posted a job opening on LinkedIn for Head of Media Buying, User Acquisition at AMMAGAMMA with a salary of $15,000 and the possibility of booking. Interestingly, this is a company with a mission to «prove that casinos can be different.» The position is being actively discussed by the community.
«$15,000 and bookings for an online casino? I must be missing something. Or I’m just not that kind of person. I have 5+ years in marketing, Gini shows me a range of $1000-$2000. And then this comes to me: New iGaming brand is looking for a Head of Media Buying. Salary range: $5000 — $15000. Format: Hybrid, office in Kyiv. And the „icing on the cake“, bookings. Bookings in gambling? Where can there be a reservation in an online casino? Personally, my conscience does not allow me to go to work in gambling, crypto, guts and quick loans. These are my personal „red lines“. But when you see that in these „gray“ niches they offer not only sky-high money, but also such a „bun“ as a reservation… you involuntarily begin to doubt,» he wrote on LinkedIn.
Interestingly, the vacancy is not only posted on Djinni.
And here it is on DOU with the tag «reservation».
The specialist asks himself: «What is this, the new norm of the market? Am I „not like that“ with my principles and simply don’t know how to live?»

A little about the shitty candidates
«What do you think of Kim Jong-un?»
Recruiter Yulia Sitnikova shared her experience of selecting candidates on LinkedIn, among whom she found a significant number of Koreans.
«My „first time“ was candidates from North Korea. I posted a vacancy, and within a few hours I already had the first 25 applicants. But more than half looked strange — the pages were created a week ago, no recommendations, zero activity. The location is a European country, education is somewhere in Asia. Candidates respond quickly, take tests, everything looks perfect,» said Yulia.
Previously, according to her, the same «candidates» often did not turn on the camera — or turned it on so that only a piece of their face was visible. «The resume is good, the answers are logical… but something is wrong,» the specialist says.
Yulia went to Google and opened a «rabbit hole.» «It turns out that North Korean programmers are often behind such fake profiles. This is a whole state strategy: „IT hubs“ are being created, where specialists work remotely for foreign companies. The goal is twofold — to earn foreign currency and gain access to internal systems and data. A kind of „Korean outsourcing“ that finances the regime. They are given fake documents, European accounts to receive salaries,» explained the recruitment specialist.
The specialist adds: «As a recruiter, I feel responsible for the security of the process. That’s why now I have a new test question at the interview: „What do you think of Kim Jong-un?“ — the interview ends instantly,» she said and added that when she described this case on social networks, other recruiters started writing to her — some candidates even used filters to look more European.
«Don’t *beat your brain»
Recruiter Svitlana Dovhan published a screenshot of correspondence with a swearing candidate.
«Some kind of autumn exacerbation. A colleague shared a story. She arranged to call the candidate after work. She suggested 7:30 p.m., because she simply didn’t have time to get home by 7:00 p.m. The candidate himself said that after 7:00 p.m. was convenient for him. But if the time doesn’t suit you, you can normally answer: „It’s not convenient for me,“ „I can’t at this time“ — and that’s it. I’m shocked,» she wrote .
«An AI candidate came to me for an interview»
Artem Nikityuk, an IT talent acquisition manager at Deloitte, first encountered an AI candidate during an interview. The hiring process began as usual: the candidate sent a professionally crafted resume for an IT position. The next step was a phone call, which came as a complete surprise.
As Artem Nikityuk told dev.ua, the company usually conducts calls with candidates in Microsoft Teams. But this time they decided to move the meeting to Zoom because the candidate reported a problem with the service.

«From the first minute, it was clear that something was wrong… The avatar on the screen tried to pretend to be a person, answered in a formulaic and unnatural way,» Artem noted in a post on LinkedIn.
The conversation lasted several minutes. Artem only managed to ask how things were going, and then told what they would talk about during the meeting. «At the question ‘Tell me about yourself what I need to know as part of our process’ — the AI broke down,» Artem said. «The candidate said ‘oh,’ covered his face with his hands — and just left the meeting.»
Artem suggests that the candidate may have sent an avatar because he could work on several jobs, or he thought that AI would cope better and faster with the questions. «I expected something like this to happen someday. But I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. And you know what thought haunts me? If there are already „AI candidates,“ how long is it until „AI recruiters“ appear? Forgive me, God, but we can really expect interviews where avatars sit on both sides of the screen,» Artem concluded.
