As Forbes writes, referring to the reporting of these service companies in YouControl, some of them demonstrated more dramatic indicators: for example, Ciklum’s profit fell by 34% to UAH 36.4 million, and Intellas reduced the figure by 28% to UAH 115 million.
The company Sigma Software showed the greatest increase in profit in Ukraine, as its figures increased from 86 to 113 million UAH.
The revenue of the top six outsourcing companies, compared to the first half of 2024, increased by only 2,1% — to UAH 22.4 billion.
The publication states that in the first half of 2025, only EPAM Ukraine maintains last year’s double-digit revenue growth trend, as its figure increased by 11% to UAH 9.7 billion. Intellas' revenue increased by almost 1%, Sigma Software and DXC Luxoft remained almost unchanged (-0.4% and -1.1%, respectively), GlobalLogic lost 5%, and Ciklum lost 10%.
In turn, the total staff of the six largest outsourcers decreased by 3,3% — together they laid off more than 800 employees in six months.
The fewest layoffs were in EPAM (by 2,3% — to 9,350 people). GlobalLogic Ukraine reduced its staff despite the growth in profits — by 3,4%. Sigma Software is the only company that was able to increase its staff by 0,1%. DXC Luxoft made the most cuts (in half a year its team decreased by 6,3% — to 3,000 people), Ciklum (5% of employees were laid off — 1,950 remained) and Intellias (101 people or 4,6% of the staff were laid off).
According to a comment from the press service of the Lviv IT Cluster, the situation on the market remains heterogeneous, as in the previous year.
«Some service companies are showing growth due to new markets or optimization,» they noted.
In turn, according to Serhiy Yashchuk, CEO of the Kyiv IT Cluster and CEO of Coworking Platform, the market is reassessing the margins and quality of client portfolios. «This is not a systemic collapse,» he denies.
As dev.ua wrote, in the first half of 2025, the largest Ukrainian IT companies achieved more than half of their revenue for the entire year 2024, and their net profit in some cases has already exceeded last year’s figures.
At the same time, according to DOU analytics for the first half of 2025, the IT market in Ukraine showed the best results since the beginning of the war.
