"The issue of hostile software is a very painful issue. Why? Mimicking software tools under domestic, European brands is happening all the time. In 2016, the National Security and Defense Council made a corresponding decision on sanctions. And a whole set of software got on the sanctions list. But how does it usually happen in our state? Someone... Something... And they didn't want to switch," Strelnyk explained.
According to him, to overcome this problem, the Verkhovna Rada recently adopted Bill No. 11290 , which obliged state bodies to use software, except for that which will be included in the register of prohibited software.
Recall that the government computer emergency response team CERT-UA, operating under the State Service for Special Communications, recorded an increase in the number of cyber incidents by almost 70% in 2024 compared to the previous year.
