The founder of the 3rd Airborne Brigade, Andriy Biletsky, told us which drones, in his opinion, are the most effective on the battlefield today.
"The Americans were unable to create an analogue of the Mavic, it is now the king of war. Large Reaper-class UAVs are absolutely not applicable here, where the Russians have a powerful air group and air defense. They, like the Bayraktar, will prove to be completely inappropriate in this war," the military said.
He added that "our attempts to create shock "wings" are there, but they have not yet radically affected the course of the war."
Answering the question of what the US can do to help Ukraine the most right now, Biletskyi replied that the simplest thing is money.
"It was much easier to develop our military-industrial complex (military-industrial complex — ed.) and give the private sector the opportunity to show itself, it is now in the top. We produce more self-propelled guns "Bogdan" per month than any European country or Britain can produce artillery systems. But we cannot expand the production of modern infantry fighting vehicles," the military man concluded.
