The application was presented on December 11 by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.

After downloading the application, you can pay for the fare in a few clicks, the Lviv City Council reports. For this you need:
download the app
choose a ticket
specify the number of passengers and the number of tickets that a person wants to purchase,
make a payment,
activate ticket
The ticket will contain a QR code that must be read on the validator in the transport (in the upper right corner of the screen). In case of successful payment, a green mark will appear on the validator.
The ticket will be valid until the end of the trip, and within 40 minutes passengers can make free transfers. In addition, you can immediately buy not one ticket, but several in reserve, and activate them as needed.
Also, in addition to general transfer tickets, it will be possible to purchase season tickets later.
In addition to the application, Lviv also launched access to the e-Shop, with which you can check your trips using the card. In the first weeks, the application will work in test mode, and all users are encouraged to leave feedback about inaccuracies to the hotline at 0800 303 007 or social networks .
Andriy Sadovy noted that 90% of Lviv passengers pay for their fares using non-cash payments, in particular, with the LeoKart card and others. And after the launch of the application, he expects this indicator to decrease by another 5-4%.
In Lviv, they are working on the implementation of the e-ticket option, which will provide for the payment of transport work to road carriers and the introduction of travel passes. But, according to Oleh Zabarilo, director of the department of urban mobility and street infrastructure of the LMR, this is hindered by legislative obstacles. That is why various types of subscriptions, in particular, three-month, six-month, annual, are postponed for the time being. However, the city already has the training and the technical ability to implement it, they are just waiting for the appropriate changes to the legislation.
dev.ua was in the very center of development, when the contactless payment function was just being tested. We wrote details about who Leokart is, why drivers need printers, and why such a large-scale project is afraid of losing its users.
