The new development was presented by engineers within the Brave1 defense technology cluster. As the project authors reported on their official Facebook page , Algiz AM has already been field-tested and has passed the codification procedure, meaning it has received technical approval for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The complex is designed to suppress the control channels and video signal transmission of drones. This allows you to disable the drone or make it impossible to use it effectively during reconnaissance or dropping ammunition.
According to feedback from military personnel who have already worked with the prototype, the complex has shown consistent effectiveness in jamming DJI Mavic signals even under conditions of enemy electronic countermeasures.
The developers also noted that when creating Algiz AM, they actively took into account requests from combat units. For example, the need for autonomous operation without being tied to a generator and support for various frequency ranges used to control drones.
The system is already ready for large-scale deployment, and its adaptation to serial production is in the final stage.
