The exchange has sent out a warning to clients in Ukraine about changes to fiat channels and the suspension of a number of services. The most painful change concerns card withdrawals: funds can no longer be transferred directly to a card, and the function has been suspended "until further notice."
At the same time, Binance has paused Recurring Buy (automatic regular purchases) and canceled limit orders for buying assets for fiat. At the same time, the "input" of money to the exchange remains almost unchanged: Visa/Mastercard cards can be used to replenish the balance and buy crypto assets (these are incoming transactions), and Apple Pay and Google Pay work for replenishment. SWIFT, according to the publication, is available for both deposits and withdrawals.
The message separately mentions Zen.com: the service remains among the payment methods, but full operation for deposits and withdrawals is expected from January 6, 2026.
UPD. The international strategic communications agency COMMSX, which cooperates with the Binance exchange, stated in a comment to dev.ua that the recent announcement of changes in payment methods applies exclusively to those users from Ukraine who previously used Bifinity services.
Crypto exchanges’ fiat transactions depend on banks and payment partners, so infrastructure changes quickly impact the most popular “crypto-card” scenario. For Ukrainian users, this means a shift toward bank transfers and exchange mechanisms, as well as the need to check P2P availability for their profile in advance.
