«Diya» has launched beta testing of a new service — filing a tax declaration on property status and income online. The service should also help Ukrainians who want to apply for a tax discount and return part of the personal income tax paid, without trips to institutions and paperwork.
According to the Telegram channel «Actions», citizens of Ukraine who are individuals and are entitled to a tax discount are invited to the test. The message emphasizes that the new tool can be useful for those who received income subject to mandatory declaration, or had a salary with personal income tax withheld, and also spent money for purposes that allow them to claim a discount. Such expenses include tuition fees, medical treatment, life insurance, mortgages and other types of expenses provided for by the Tax Code.
Previously, the declaration was usually filled out using forms on the DPS website or by contacting the tax office in person. Now, «Diya» promises a few simple steps online to reduce queues and remove some of the bureaucracy. A special emphasis in the beta test is placed on feedback: users are encouraged to get involved in order to polish the process and make it more convenient.

Beck: A tax declaration on property status and income is required, in particular, for declaring certain types of income, and a tax rebate allows you to return part of the personal income tax for expenses defined by the Tax Code.
