Chinese company DJI has introduced the FlyCart 100 (FC100) heavy cargo drone, designed for industrial, emergency and logistics applications. It can carry up to 80 kilograms, which significantly exceeds the payload of Ukrainian heavy bombers.

DJI noted that the FC100 was designed to work in difficult conditions and is designed to change the transportation of goods. This is reported by DroneXL.
The FlyCart 100 supports a maximum take-off weight of 150 kg, which is 60% more than its predecessor, the FlyCart 30. On a single battery, it carries 80 kg for a distance of 6 km, and in dual battery mode, 65 kg for 12 km. Without a payload, it reaches 26 km. At an altitude of 3000 meters, the drone holds a load of 70 kg with one battery or 50 kg with two batteries, and the maximum flight altitude is 6000 meters.
The drone is equipped with 62-inch carbon fiber propellers and a coaxial dual-rotor system that increases thrust and reduces blade vibration. This configuration, combined with a 420A ESC, provides more torque and faster response, allowing you to complete tasks in difficult terrain conditions.
The new product has an improved safety system that deploys the parachute at a height of over 80 meters when fully loaded and limits the descent speed to 7 meters per second to protect both the cargo and the drone from impact. The FlyCart 100 is equipped with a high-precision LiDAR that captures 300,000 points per second, a millimeter-wave radar optimized for low-visibility conditions, and a Quad-Vision system with five-directional fisheye cameras that improves obstacle avoidance.
The IP55 protection class provides resistance to dust, light rain and wind speeds of up to 12 meters per second while operating in a temperature range of -20 to +40 °C. Additional safety features include obstacle avoidance during cargo transport, low-altitude flight restrictions and an AR display for detecting people and vehicles.
The price of the FC100 ranges from $12,500 with standard charging to $16,700 for a top-of-the-line package with a powerful charging station.
The Ukrainian military is using drones, including DJI drones, to destroy Russian occupiers. These include heavy bomber drones, such as SkyFall’s Vampire, capable of carrying up to 15 kg of cargo up to 10 km, and Wild Hornets’ Queen of the Hornets, capable of carrying 9.5 kg at 5 km or 6 kg at 17 km.

The FlyCart 100 could also benefit the Defense Forces, but back in 2022, DJI announced that it was leaving the Ukrainian market at the same time as ceasing operations in the Russian Federation.
In October 2023, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that Ukraine was buying 60% of the world’s total production of Mavic drones. But later, the Chinese manufacturer of Mavic, DJI, denied the words of the Ukrainian Prime Minister.
In May 2025, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia could still buy Chinese DJI Mavic drones, but this opportunity was closed for Ukraine and Europe.
