Djinni published the ranking of TOP IT companies 2025: GlobalLogic leads, PrivatBank is in the top three, and hiring of Junis has increased

The Djinni platform traditionally published its annual employer rating for 2025, which witnessed significant changes in the Ukrainian IT market. GlobalLogic confirmed its leadership by doubling the number of new hires, and PrivatBank entered the top three for the first time in terms of the number of hires. At the same time, salary expectations of developers continue to decline.

The Djinni platform traditionally published its annual employer rating for 2025, which witnessed significant changes in the Ukrainian IT market. GlobalLogic confirmed its leadership by doubling the number of new hires, and PrivatBank entered the top three for the first time in terms of the number of hires. At the same time, salary expectations of developers continue to decline.

Leadership and major changes in hiring

In the ranking by the number of hires on Djinni, the top three have changed for the first time in three years:

  • GlobalLogic retained the top spot.

  • PrivatBank rose to second place, entering the top three for the first time. Last year, the bank was in fourth place.

  • TemaBit Fozzy Group remained in third place.

  • Luxoft, which was second the previous two years, dropped to fifth place.

This year, 13 of the 22 companies in the ranking increased hiring, and among the newcomers, N-iX stood out, making the list for the first time in three years, taking 8th place with a 250% year-over-year increase in hiring.

Growth in hiring of junior specialists

One of the most notable trends has been the increase in hiring candidates without experience (up to 1 year):

  • GlobalLogic hired twice as many juniors in the first 11 months of 2025 as it did last year. The share of juniors in the company's hires increased from 10% to 19%.

  • Overall, the share of candidates without experience among top companies' hires increased from less than 7% to 8% in 2025.

  • Companies Appexoft (over 70% of new employees have no experience) and Boosta (a third of vacancies are filled by Junos) also actively hired beginners.

Falling salary expectations and recruiter activity

Despite active hiring, developer salary expectations continue to decline. The average salary for a developer with one year of experience was $633, down from $687 last year.

However, most of the companies on the top list (19 out of 22) hired specialists whose salary expectations were higher than the market average. The highest in this ranking were SKELAR, Sigma Software, and N-iX.

Other key activity indicators:

  • Luxoft and GlobalLogic remain the leaders in terms of the number of job openings. Overall, the companies sent 17% more offers to open contacts to candidates than last year (880 thousand).

  • Candidates searched most often for SKELAR jobs, but signed up the most for GlobalLogic jobs.

  • The average percentage of recruiters responding to feedback increased from 47% to 55%, indicating improved communication with candidates.
